Lots of HD-DVD movies are on clearance at many stores for $10 to $15 each, such as DeepDiscount.com (scroll down on DeepDiscount's page to find lots of $10 and $12 HD-DVDs). If you were already looking to spend $50 or $70 for an up-convert DVD player for your regular DVDs, might want to consider getting this HD-DVD player for $80 which can do up-convert, and get a couple HD-DVD titles with it. However, keep in mind HD-DVD is a dead format and few HD-DVD titles will be released in the future.
