They are also selling the APC 750VA UPS for $55 plus $8 to $10 shipping, which is still about $15 less than most other stores. A UPS provides battery backup and power regulation to sensitive electronics. The most common cause of computer hardware failures are faulty power supplies, power surges, or bad electricity source. If you suffered a fair share of computer hardware failures over the last few years, investing in a UPS may be a good choice. While this model does not provide both under & over AVR, it is still better than nothing. Other recommended uses of a UPS besides computers are LCD televisions and fish tank filters. |
